Land Acknowledgement

The Olympic Mountains Trail Races are hosted on appropriated homelands of indigenous peoples. We express our deepest respect to those people, past and present, and thank them for their continued stewardship, care and advocacy of these lands for generations. These tribes include the Hoh Tribe, The S’Klallam Jamestown Tribe, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, Makah Indian Tribe, Quileute Nation, Quinault Indian Nation, Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe, and the Skokomish Tribe. 

We encourage all to learn about and acknowledge the histories, traditions and cultures of these Indigenous Peoples.
